Instructions:
- First a friendly FYI - Some of the
instructions here require slightly above
"Newbie / Beginner" status... that is OK
:) - If you fall into this category, or
if any of our instructions are not
clear, or if you would just like our
help, simply Open A Tech Support Ticket
with NoMonthlyFees.com by Clicking
Support above...
We are VERY FAMILIAR with the GOOGLE
MAIL setup, etc. and are very happy to
assist you in this process :) - So do
not hesitate to ask us for assistance!
Ok, lets get started...
- You must have a GMail account FIRST...
so, if you do not already have a GMail
account, then please - Sign up with GMail:
http://mail.google.com/mail/help/intl/en/about.html
- CLICK on the Button that says: Create
An Account. -(It's in the Upper Right
Hand Corner).
- Once you have a standard gmail
account (something@gmail.com),
you can now sign up for the E-Mail
hosting.
http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new
Choose the "Administrator" as shown
below and place your domain name in the
box, and press "Get Started" button:

Now, fill out the REQUIRED FIELDS as
shown below:

You do NOT need to put anything in
the "Organization Information" area,
they are not REQUIRED. SIMPLY, press the "Continue" Button as
shown below:

- Once you have signed up, an MX
Record change will be necessary to point
your E-Mail records to google.
For the slightly more advanced users,
you can log into your Online Control
Panel (CPanel) and simply go to E-Mail,
then click on: Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry),
from there, you just need to modify the
MX Entry to the following:
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
If you are not comfortable doing this,
NO PROBLEM :)
We will be happy to make the DNS changes for you.
To REQUEST these changes, please Open A
Tech Support Ticket with
NoMonthlyFees.com by Clicking Support
above, and simply Request that we:
Modify the MX Entry to the following:
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
- Lastly, you just need to tell GMail
that you have setup your domain
correctly.
To do this, login to your GMail account
at this URL:
https://www.google.com/a/yourdomain.com
Please replace yourdomain.com with your
ACTUAL DOMAIN NAME :)
Once you are logged in,
Click on the link that
says: "Activate E-Mail"

Then choose "CPanel" as the HOSTING
COMPANY, then click on the Button that
says "I have completed these steps".
- That's it. - Enjoy GMail!
- EXTRAS -
We can setup a CNAME that will make
email.yourdomain.com go directly to your
GMAIL login page at:
https://www.google.com/a/yourdomain.com
This way, all you ever have to remember
is email.yourdomain.com - plus, you can
give this url (email.yourdomain.com) to
all your E-Mail users :) - If you would
like this done, please Open A Tech
Support Ticket with NoMonthlyFees.com by
Clicking Support above, and simply
Request that we:
CREATE a CNAME so that
email.yourdomain.com goes to my GMAIL
account at:
https://www.google.com/a/yourdomain.com
by creating a CNAME record that points
to: ghs.google.com.
Once we complete this, you will simply
need to go to the
"Service Settings" Menu, and choose "EMail"
and follow the instructions there:
